I have been working as a psychotherapist for over ten years and I believe that therapy should be an enriching experience as well as providing a pathway to change
As a chartered Counselling Psychologist, my work is underpinned by humanistic values and respect for an individual's choices. I work with a wide range of personal problems including low self esteem, loss of motivation and relationship breakdown.
I specialise in working with with depression, including post-natal depression and anxiety disorders including social anxiety, and OCD
I am also a qualified and highly experienced cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) specialist

Training, qualifications and experience
My core training is as a Counselling Psychologist and I am a Chartered Member and Associate Fellow of the
British Psychological Society.
I am also a fully accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP),
as well as a registered health professional with the HCPC.
My work has principally been within NHS Primary and Secondary Care Mental Health Services, but has also included
working within higher education

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK.
Membership is open to anyone with a nainterest in the practice, theory or development CBT. BABCP also
provides accreditation for CBT therapists.
BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the practice
of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator.
